Selection for any future paid or revenue-sharing program is entirely discretionary and based on platform needs, performance, availability of opportunities, and other business considerations.
Participation in the volunteer program does not guarantee future compensation, employment, partnership, or revenue-sharing opportunities.
Volunteer Terms & Conditions
By applying to become a volunteer, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Volunteer Status
Participation in the Good Karma Volunteer Program is entirely voluntary.
Volunteers are not employees, contractors, agents, partners, representatives, or legal affiliates of Good Karma unless separately agreed to in writing.
2. No Guaranteed Compensation
Volunteer contributions are provided without expectation of salary, wages, commissions, benefits, or compensation.
Volunteers understand that participation is generally unpaid unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Future Opportunities
Good Karma may, but is not obligated to, offer future paid opportunities, project-based compensation, revenue-sharing arrangements, or other incentives to selected contributors.
No volunteer should assume or expect future compensation solely based on participation.
4. Ownership of Contributions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, content, designs, materials, research, recordings, creative assets, and other work produced for Good Karma may be used, edited, published, distributed, or repurposed by Good Karma for its operations, educational initiatives, promotional activities, and related purposes.
5. Professional Conduct
Volunteers are expected to:
- communicate respectfully
- act professionally
- maintain confidentiality where appropriate
- avoid harmful, discriminatory, abusive, or unlawful behavior
Good Karma reserves the right to discontinue volunteer participation at any time.
6. Flexible Participation
Volunteers may discontinue participation at any time.
Similarly, Good Karma may suspend, limit, or terminate volunteer involvement at any time without obligation.
7. Independent Responsibility
Volunteers remain responsible for:
- their own actions
- personal equipment
- internet access
- time commitments
- compliance with applicable laws
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Karma shall not be liable for any losses, damages, claims, expenses, injuries, disputes, or consequences arising from participation in the volunteer program.
Participation is undertaken voluntarily and at the individual's own discretion.
